“Yoga has transformed my life. What began as a physical practice has become so much more, and that transformation really started when I became a student at Y6. Prior to joining Y6, I had practiced inconsistently for years, and I taught with a Level 1 certification for a few years pre-COVID, but my practice evolved when I joined Y6 in late 2021. I loved the Y6 classes and community, attending classes 4-5 times per week. Yoga settled into my soul. I decided I needed to deepen my practice and completed my 200 hour certification in December, 2022. I was not planning to teach, I just wanted to grow in my practice, but in May, 2023, there was a shift, and I thought- I must teach. I taught my first class at Y6 on June 11th, 2023. I love the Y6 community- the students who allow me to share my love of the practice, and my fellow instructors who are so supportive of me in my teaching journey. My travels always include visiting local yoga studios, and I am currently studying Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. These learnings and experiences are likely to weave their way into my classes. Thank you for allowing me to share my love of yoga with our incredible Y6 community.” -Amy H.
